the IAC, a.k.a EACV is not a sensor. It is a valve that lets air into the intake manfold when you are at idle because the throttle plate is closed. It might be different on a 5g. But my 4g CRX it is a metal cylinder shaped thing about 3/4 the length of a normal hot dog, (ya ya, lol)..

Turn you car on. Make sure EVERYTHING is off. Heater, deforster, stereo, EVERYTHING. Let car warm up so the cooling fan comes on. Turn car off.

There is a 2pin connector connected to it. Disconnect that plug and start your car. Be careful as the engine is hot.

Check idle speed. should be around 800 rpm. if its low, go back to the engine, and turn the idle adjustment screw. Its located on the TB and is a flat head screwdriver type. Turn that slightly and check idle speed. If still to low continue adjusting screw until desired idle speed is obtained. When correct idle is obtained, turn ignition OFF. Reconnect the IAC/EACV. Reset your ecu. Turn car on and let it idle for 1 min. idle should be around where u set it. after the 1 min, turn the headlights on high beam and rear defroster on. Then after that minute turn headlights off and deefroster off. The turn heater fan on FULL and A/C on (if u have it). Let it idle like that for 1 min. After that you are done re-setting your car's idle for load and no load.
