don't use it, unless you're using the greddy turbo. Its specifically designed to adjust fuel given the CFM map that the turbos produce. It does not read your actual MAP signal, it only lowers the voltage and then holds your injectors open longer to create more fuel.

Use an FMU if you're running less then 6 psi, and some check valves.

The blue box does not wire to your injectors. It does not hold them open longer.

It scales your map sensor voltage in an effort to get you to an acceptable part of the MAP that runs a bit richer. The fuel map dictates pulse width duration.

uh, my blue box required you to wire to your fuel injectors. I don't know what the ---- you're talking about.

Unless you mean the Emanage setup, I'm talking about the box that comes with the turbo kits which is what I assume when I hear 'blue box' since its blue and a box.

Then I don't know what the ---- I'm talking about either. :o
From the install that helped with on a "Greddy Blue Box", it was similar to a V-AFC setup. Basically, just a MAP scaling device that used stock injectors. Oh well..

Re:HELP!!! Anyone with greddy blue box with hmt setup

When we set up my box, it does take in the MAP signal, but it also goes to all 4 injectors, and as well to the power/ground.
I mean seriously think about it, the greddy turbo kits don't come with larger injectors so scaling the MAP signal wouldn't help at all. They just increase the amount of fuel in each pulse (if you can call it a pulse).

This is why you can't use it past 5 psi and need better engine management, or you can kiss that engine good bye.

We're running the blue box on our set up and it _seems_ to be working. WOrking on getting my friend to come over with his wideband and see what's really going on.

Yes, you wire into the injectors, but the box just taps into the injectors, not interupting the signal. I believe it's just to monitor signal and/or pulse width. Anyway, like I said, it's been working pretty well. I'll follow up when I learn more with the wideband.
