Having to try twice...

Well ive tried searching and i cant seem to find anything on it. I just got my car running a while ago (d16a6, t25, vafc) and its hard to start. I have to turn the key and and give it a little throttle for it to start. most of the time i have to repeat this twice. Ive heard some people have problem stating with the dsm 450's but my settings are at -38 at 1000 and the car runs smooth once it finally starts. Any suggestions? I replaced plugs and the cap(because i had it just laying around) and it didnt do anything. Maybe its something simple i dont know

Thanks

My 450's start like stock. I run Uberdata though. I would try to lean it out more.

-40 is about what i would set it to.

just lean it out until your car started up fine.
but first, check your plugs, are they wet (from fuel)?
if so, then your running rich and need to lean it out. see what color your plugs are as well.
