Default Guess what happened today?

I got my chipped p28 ecu today, its got a reprogramable chip in a chip holder so i thought it would be worth buying so when all my turbostuff is fitted i can swap in a chip with a different programme.

Im very unpatient when i get new stuff and thought id try taking the chip out then this happened!!!!!!

So ive spent the last half an hour soldering the stupid little chip holder back in, and next time i remove the chip ill be sure to leaver off the holder not the board lol.

what kind of solder job pulls right the ---- out? If it was a shitty enough job to not pull a trace I wouldn't trust anything they did. If it was a good solder job chances are it ripped a few traces straight off the board and good luck fixing all that ----. Put it this way, if you have the talent/patients to fix all those traces then you coulda saved alot of dough and just chipped it yourself.
