Wondering why you bought something and then do the research afterwards. Usually helps if you do it the other way around.

Sell it. Use the money to buy something better. There have to be more suckers out there, you can't be the only one. :P

For non-Hondas... it's a viable solution, I don't think anyone will argue that. This being a primarily Honda board, I ASSumed that is what he had.. My mistake.

But, for Hondas, it's a fat ass'd waste of money, no matter how much you pay for it.

its better than an fmu. but for the money uber or crome would have been a better choice. how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?? isnt emanage different from the bluebox??

Re: greddy emanage questions????

you dont have the emanage system, its a fully programable system tuned by computer

you have the greddy blue box its like a base map, that is not reprogramable

^^^^^^^^ too many bob marleys ::)

i was told on S-H that the emanage and the "bluebox" are the same thing????

but still thumbs up or down?

Re: greddy emanage questions????

Thumbs down on all non Honda ECU tuning products.

You are lucky to have such a backing for your stock ECU. Fully programmable, full featured *FREE* engine management. Take advantage. Nothing can control your fuel system better than the stock ECU, unless it's replaced (I.E. Stand alone). So you're better off using Crome or Uberdata.

he drives a 95 accord vtec with the p0a ecu, he talked to xeocron and he said that the ecu is unprogramable........

Re: greddy emanage questions????

Take a few minutes, get the pinout of the ECU from the back of a Haynes manual (yes, it's there), and wire it over to a Civic ECU. Hell, some people even say they're plug and play. Yet another great characteristic of Hondas.

he paid 60 dollars shiped so i would say for the money it is the best thing he could have bought plus they come in the greddy turbo kits they have to do a some what good job if they come in a 1000+ dollar kit

Re: greddy emanage questions????

Paul, sounds like user error.

I just did a VTEC conversion + Chipping + OBD2 to OBD1 conversion on a 99 Civic Si, runs like a champ.

I'm sure somewhere you messed up. When things are done correctly, things work. It's a black and white issue.

I know, but I cant find my error, and I double, triple and quadrouple checked everything. So my buddy is gonna hook his p28 to my car, adn see if it works, then we;re gonna hook my ecu to his car, and if it dont work, hes gonna reburn the ecu and try it again.... :-\

Paul forgot to mention his car is an auto as well...which throws a little monkey wrench in the details.

Why am I not surprised that someone DIDN'T tell everything about thier setup. ::)

Oh well, Paul, good luck to you all the same. I hope it works out.. auto don't get the love they deserve sometimes. Maybe you can help push the envelope.
