got my car running, but it dont run....
 

not sure whats going on, i finally got done with the turbo ----, i start it the first time, and it idles cool but i have a CEL, map code, vaccum line is unhooked, so i hook it back up and restart the car, it idles cool for about 30 seconds, then dies, now it wont stay idleing at all it dies about 3 seconds after i start it, also if i hold the pedal to the floor it will go to about 4k rpm and no higher and kinda ---- out >:( i thought maybe it was a turbo edit map problem but xenocron made my base map and i tested in my friends boosted D when i got it and it worked great? the only thing i have changed was i copy/pasted the values into rory's bin that disables 02 trim in boost, could it be a map problem? also the boost gauge dont work at all, but its hooked up fine, it doesnt appear i have any vaccum leaks but if i do could that cause this? someone lead in the right direction......

try burning the known good map that you originally had and see if it works, if so, then yeah, i would say that's the problem. were the colum headers the same in the version that you copied and pasted from (which code was used to write the map originally, and which code did you paste them in to)?

see the column headings in my original base map which was ng-48 code were all fucked up, but when i c/p them into the other bin which was ng-48 code based as well, the colum headings corrected themselves, so i thought that was a good thing? what if i c/p the values into new ng-55? or should i c/p them back into basic ng-48 bin and try that?

They should have copied/pasted fine from the NG48 i gave you and the Rory O2 disable BIN. NOt sure why your car would run fine with a CEL 3 and then bad when you cleared it...doesnt make any sense, usually its the other way around.

And the reason you can rev over 4000rpms when sitting there might be because I enabled launch control to be at 4000 rpms.

Try running the original map in your car and let me know.

true.......but it doesnt idle, it just dies, and its sputtering up around 4,000 rpm, it dont sound right, something is for sure wrong, i cant say if its a turbo edit problem untill i know the dip settings to burn a 27c256 chip on my willem?

Not sure about the TE stuff but a boost gauge just needs a vacuum source, where is it Tee'd off?

Since you had a CEL, do you have to pull the ECU fuse to reset it?

I kinda thought the 4k thing sounded limp-mode-ish. :-X
