Default GOOD desoldering gun?

I was wacthing the intertune tv dvd and "bubba" had a F#$king SICK!!! desoldering gun that literally removed solder from PCB with merly a click of the trigger. Does anybody know what gun that was or recommend a good gun in the $200-$250maybe or less range?

like that tube with a big ball on the end? How does that work? Haven't been to successful with the braid, but really only fucked with it for a sec. I'll have to give it another try on some old computer adapter cards.

Google desoldering staion. I previously used a $400 desoldering station to do all my ecu work when i was at school but lately ive been using my $7.99 Radio Shack desoldering iron and i ------- love it. Im not the nicest to it so it needs a new tip but once things get going and i get a rythem down i can desolder a whole board in no time at all.

I do a small enough amount of them that the RadioShack one works okay. Hand can get a little tired, but no worries.

If you are doing some volume like Chris, then yeah go with a vacuum assist station.

I use the braid and it works great for me, if it gets a lil fussy i'll put some flux on it and it'll suck the solder out like a $10 french -----.

I use a cheap 35 watt pen type iron and a spring loaded sucker from the Shack.
