Is this a good deal for a WB?
I found this at Jegs. Is this a good deal? :o Is there anything else you would need to make this work? ???

Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
"Serial data stream included for output of Air/Fuel Ratio (RS 232)"
That would make me think that you could use this with a laptop to record the data. I have never used the AEM products first hand, but it looks like a good deal for those that would have previously gone with a Zeitronix or PLX. |
Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
Great ! Just when I order my PLX for $100 more than that, this comes along. >:(
Man, if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any. |
Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
"User-programmable 0-5v analog output included for use with data loggers and ANY engine management system"
sounds like a good deal to me!! |
Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
Holy ----. If I hadn't been such an impuslive buyer over the past 3 weeks I would impulsively buy that!

Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
sounds like a bitchin deal, especially if it comares or overpasses wb's like the plx and lm-1, i think i might get one myself for a price like that

Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
The only issue I have heard about with the AEM UEGO is that it uses a non-linear sensor which makes logging in the editors a bit tricky.
I'm also not sure about replacement sensors on that thing...I think you have to buy them directly from AEM ($$$). Whereas you can get easy replacement Bosch sensors for ~$40 for the other WB units out there. |
Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
can this double as your o2 sensor for your computer as well or are there any that do?

Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
The Innovate units (and some others) have two outputs, one wideband and one narrowband. You can send a narrowband output to the ECU and it acts just like a standard narrowband should.

Re: Is this a good deal for a WB?
how much does an innovate wideband run that comes with a gauge that you can put into a gauge pod?
