i'm going to be getting a dohc zc soon. if i understand correctly a fix is in progress to make the multipliers work with dohc, correct? if so how soon. i'm new to ghettodyne and i'm just trying to ocver all the bases before i buy the zc. should i just stick with sohc and get a z6 or will ghettodyne work on dohc in the very near future? thanx

Ghettodyne = OBD0 aka 88-91 (but you generally need 90-91 ECU). It is not engine dependant, it is wiring (distributor) dependant.

FYI, turbo ZC kicks turbo SOHC VTEC squarely in the nuts. If you can't source a DOHC ZC, then get a D16A6 as it has better headflow than the Z6 or Y8.

We lost all sorts of power on Atlee's car going from worn out ZC to fresh low mileage Z6, same car, same setup, same boost.

what is the boost limit of ghd? I think I read somewhere that the maps only go to 10 or 12 psi, is that true?

it is more the honda map sensor has limits rather than ghettodyne> although at this time i have not seen any maps with more than !)psi of boost> the implameant of using 2-3 bar maps has not been implamented yet but it is in the works hope that helps

so are the psi tables unlimited, or do they just stop at the 1 bar map sensor limit? If I got a 3 bar with ghettodyne right now could I use 32 psi?

you could use a 3 bar although you would have to recalibrate the maps... I am not sure how to get to 32 psi i think people that get that high are using EMS's

If you have a V-afc then you can change the " sensor in" and "sensor out" setting to make the ECU see basiclly what the honda map would sent to it, but using a 3 bar map sensor, but I don't think the map sensor is the problem, I think the ECU tables are.

Here is a link about how to change your stock honda map to a 3bar using a STOCK ECU. I have no idea how well, or if it will work with ghettodyne. I think someone said something about a 3bar not having enough resolution or something like that, but maybe some of these ecu/ghettodyne genus dudes can figure something out..
