GHD VAC jerk?
 

ok someone keeps telling me there are huge jerks at 20vac, 10vac and 0 vac..


is this true?

I will have a full write up for this by next week.. im boosting this weekend hopefully and i have GHD Ready ecu and chips.. i even have a eeprom burner :)

many pics.. and much detailed info about it..
hopefully its not to bad where i have to whip out the good ole fmu and missing link.

i've only noticed it at 10 and 0. it can be substantial if you're just easing along.

kind of a newb question but why does that happen...isnt the ghettodyne specific enough when it comes to reading different values at different rpms and wat not...

ya it does jerk and it gets really annoying on a daliy driver. hopefully this can be fixed soon.... :-\

I haven't gotten definetive information back from Mike or George, but, I'm thinking it has to do with the scaling routine. Maybe some values are ffalling outside of the scaling routine? Maybe the routine is taking too many clock cycles this is a time critical routine.

I do know that it seems to be an ignition cut. As my A/F gauge never dropped when I hit the jerk points over and over. This is also my guess..

But to answer you question, no, there is no answer as of yet.
