Default gauges

i know alot of people buy very expensive top of the line gauges. but what about autometer and companys such as them. i am uilding my turbo setup and wonder what gauges you recommend. i have been told that a lot of people prefer electrical over mechanical. are there goods and bads of both of them?

Defi are nice...but pricey.

I really don't think any of the guages out there like the Autometer's are that great. But any guages are better than no guages.

I have all Sunpro guages. Mech Oil PSi, Electric water temp, Voltmeter, A/F Ratio. They say that they are not the best, but the never steered me wrong and all the oldskool guys I know run them without incedence.

The only other guage that I haveis an autoguage boost guage and it reads 2 psi off.

The balance that,I gonna get a VDO boost guage to check it the Autoguage is actually off. I heard good thing about VDO, but they are no means as cheeap as Sunpro.

I run a sunpro tach right now. I'm getting ready to ditch it for a factory gauge cluster with tach, but when that goes in so does my sunpro triple gauge set consisting of volts, mech water temp, and mech oil pressure. I'll get some pictures up of my custom gauge holder when I'm finished with it.

I also have an autometer boost gauge on the way, I'll probably ditch the volt meter for the boost gauge.
