full throttle shift and crome

So I have read full throttle shift works in crome you just have to hook up a switch to the clutch (cruise control switch) and use b7 or the power steering pressure switch. I am just confused is b7 the power steering pressure switch pin? Or is there 2 pins you can use?

I have also read b7 is a clutch switch input used for the vx and b8 is the power steering pressure switch.

I am just confused what pin??

What car and ecu are you using? I have only setup ftl once on my own car and it worked without having to do anything. You do need a functional clutch switch.

Ok so do you have 2 clutch switches one for the start up solenoid (so you do not start your car clutch out) and one feeding the ecu info? Do you have a vx shell?

I am still confused so you did not have to hook anything up to get fts to work? So what pin dose your clutch switch go into? Do you have a power steering pressure switch hooked up too?

I have an ex coupe. There is only one switch on the clutch and my car came with powersteering so it's all there. I didn't do anything except program what I wanted in Crome.

with the s300, which uses the power steering input or others(ac switch, vtec, etc) you tap a ground wire into in and when it sees ground, i.e. clutch pushed in it drops the redline for the full throttle shifting. you can use any switch that may be in the car as is, i used the cruise control switch that kills cruise control when the clutch is pushed in. but any switch can be wired up to work if chrome is using a factory input for it
