Default fuel system question

I'm confused about the SAFC and VAFC. Does the VAFC do everything the SAFC does with vtec engagement adjusting points? Whats the difference between the two? I searched but i'm not getting any posts with this topics but just every post that has these words in it.

They are almost the sam, but still a bit different...with the VAFC you can adjust your engagement point and there is sumting different about the fuel setting, but not that mutch
Any Vtec guy can explain it to him??

I got a sohc vtec, but I could care less about my vtec setting (stock is just fine). I would say go for the safc. The new safc looks pretty cool and I am sure you could get a killer deal for an old safc.
