fuel,spark, no start..

ok this is kinda wierd, but when we try to start this 94 civic ex, u can see spark arc on the dist. cap, thought it was cracked maybe but took it apart and its fine, is it normal to be able to see the spark through the cap? or is somthing f'ed up? must be cause the car dont start

it seems to start by the part that sticks out where theres a spring underneth, and arcs towards the middle.. if thers spark would that mean the dizzy is ok and i should look at replacing the coil and or cap and rotor?

I would replace the cap and clean the build up off rotor

it could be your main relay.

Cap can be cracked to the point where you wont even see it. Its a $12 part...replace it for good measure any ways. Use the new rubber seal that comes with it.
