: :: Fuel Pressure Question :: :

Ok. so I decided that I am going to go with Turbo Edit and 450cc injectors. My question is, will I need any type of added fuel pressure to properly push those injectors or can I leave the rest stock. Oh, the motor is a 95 1.5 d series in a 89 CRX si. The reason I am asking is because a friend is telling me I will need added fuel pressure to run those injectors.

Re:: :: Fuel Pressure Question :: :

fuel pressure reg has nothing to do with injector size necessarily but would be important if you ran a different fuel pump as far as i see it

That's what I thought but he was adamant that I had to do this. I think i'll just get the fuel pump and call it a day. Thanks guys.

What did I not understand? I understood that I do not need an additional regulator for the injectors but a upgraded fuel pump is recomended. I will be running TE with 450cc's on a T25/T28 . If I blow the motor then so be it but I'm trying to dot all my i's and cross all my t's. How your last comment helped me I don't know, but I'll just take it as another arrogant reply from someone who has nothing better than to be an ass.

Got it....Thanks. Remember some of us are really new to HMT, like myself and saying "i hope you blow it up or in the direction your going, wash out the cyls" is probably gonna piss anyone off. ;)

that seems like a pretty redundant statement ::)

if he upgrades his pump and leaves the stock regulator he should be more than fine as long as the new pump he buys isnt a High Pressure version. Generally most people pick up a Walbro 255 lt/hr pump.
