fuel multipliers

does the fuel multiplier feature just scale a certain percent + or - across the entire map?.... thats my understanding.... ??? talking about te2.0 of course

Re:fuel multipliers

fuel multipliers are what they are based on the injector pulsewidth that you put into the maps. Something about the 8 bit math in the ECU doesnt allow numbers without having a multiplier to come up with larger values.

if you are uncertain on how to use them or calculate them, just make sure you have the auto detect multipliers on in the properties

Re:fuel multipliers

so with the multipliers on auto detect i will not even need to understand how they work?

Re:fuel multipliers

basically, nope...

from what I understand, they were a necessity in the days of modifying maps manually in Excel and then using a hex editor to manually change them in the BIN file

this is what they used to do before programs like Ghettodyne and Turboedit (for OBD0)

it comes enabled when you download it...its under File-->Properties though

Re:fuel multipliers

k i tried it...i opened properties and clicked on fuel multipliers, on the right side there are 4 values boxes and under that it says *Auto Detection Disabled* and beside that there is an EDIT button. Is this normal?
