fuel injector filter

i have dsm 450's and one of them is missing the internal filter on the fuel inlet side... my question is, do i really need it?

the honda ones doen't fit? I wouldn't not use it. go a yard and see if anything fits.........

oh wow i thought that dsm didnt come with it

you guys are talking about that orange/yellow cap that goes on top of the injector for stock right/
