Fuel cutoff at 121mph
Does anyone here know from experience if the S-AFC overides the stock fuel cutoff point on a d16y8 ecu? Thanks for you time

cant see why it would...it has nothing to do with the speed sensor

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to find out don't really want to test it but I would like to shift outta 4th gear and see where she goes. Any idea to get around that stupid cutoff?

---- all i can do is 115mph, when i get turbo ill see where i can get with the extra torque. ;D

my car has a 130 mph limiter, thats what i thought the obd2 cars were at...maybe your y8 just doesnt have the balls

Well, the AFC is not going to change your cut off point and I don't think boosting at 120MPH will be good for the longevity of the engine with or without the fuel cut off.

wow....i wasnt being as ass, im just saying the fuel cut should have been at 130 or not at all from my experience

Gotcha buddy thought you were trying to rip on my sohc, I mean ---- I hit 120 in 4th I know I can break 130 with this new turbo kit but I don't want to run outta fuel when I am pushing 6 psi through my intake. that would be bad wouldn't it?
