Fuel cut rev limiter = detonation?

Haven't got my car finished yet, but I was playing around with uberdata and noticed that the rev limiter was fuel cut only. I was wondering if that would cause detonation to instantly cut fuel and not spark? Or does it not detonate because there is ZERO fuel to ignite? I was just curious because rev limiter is a big part of my racing :)

bouncing off the rev limiter is not generally a good idea, that is why cars have gears

under everyday normal HMT thrashing, no, your fuel-cut limiter isnt gonna start a detonation fiesta.
In circumstances where your hanging it off the limiter, say in 2nd gear at 10psi w/ a small turbo, and your way overfueled I could see there being some ignition events still happening in the chamber that is currently turned off. Assuming this, and if you stayed on it for an extened period of time, sure there could be some wierd ---- happening.
IMHO, having severely rich areas of your boost map and/or too much accel. fueling can cause pops and flames outa the exhaust when playing w/ the limiter. When everything is nice and perfect, popping and flames dont happen, no matter what you do. Guys with ignition boxes that do thier own rev-cut get flames and pops no matter what.
Im rambling....

Has anyone had a personal problem with it? or should I just not worry about it?

I think projecteg fucked a set of pistons by hitting the boost cut, which is theoretically the same as a rev limiter.
