Subaru's have two o2 sensors. one on the up pipe, and one on the down pipe near the cat.

up pipe is narrow band while down pipe is wide band.

I have mine in the same place as the primary o2 sensor goes on my si. So far i have had no problems and i have not installed a copper heat shrink. Its around 18 inches away and at the 12 oclock position. I have been running it for about 5 months and in 100 degree weather.
