is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
on stock fuel mang and stock injector
what more do i need to run it instead of hondata Apexi (chip/air fuel) and this ---- |
Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
Run it and see what happens.
Yes, an FMU will work. It's pretty damn shitty if you ask me, but it will work. It would be a better idea to ditch the FMU (either don't buy it or sell it) and just chip your ecu. ---- Hondata, use uberdata/chrome. It's a lot cheaper and a lot safer. |

chip on stock injec?

Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
No.
Look in the forced induction forum and click on the thread "Read here if you want to turbo your car" or something to that extent. You can get DSM 450cc injectors for about 50 bucks, and that's even cheaper than an FMU. |
Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
^^ I agree, go with something like uberdata or crome, it is cheaper and just as good if not better than hondata. An FMU will work up to 7 or so psi but i would never really rely on one at all. If you have to use one just use it for awhile and get to some type of real engine management fast. IF you are looking for an fmu i have one for sale...

Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
Need to know a little more about what your plans are. Im running uberdata with 450's on a stock fuel pump. The pump shoudl be fine as long as you aren't pushing it too much. If you plan on really pushing boost and the injectors i would reccommend a new one.

Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
What type of engine do you have? Your still going to need a resitor box with those injectors and rail for it to work on a honda engine. :S

Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
I would say for only 6psi you could run an FMU safely with no problems. Anything over that and you're going to want to run either TurboEdit or Uberdata(depending on OBD)with larger injectors. I don't think it's worth it to only run 6psi, but it's not my car..........

Re: is the FMU will be good on 6 to 7 PSI
Yeah but don't rely on it for very long, honestly the money for that fmu can cover most of the costs of a good tune. My entire uberdata tune including the cost of injectors cost me about 150 dollars. Get real management as soon as possible man ;)

I'd hate to justify using an FMU, but we're talking about 6psi. I can fart a higher velocity than 6psi. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
