FMU and Uberdata?
rigth now i am boosting 5psi on a stock d15b and using uberdata. anybosy ever think of using an FMu to raise the fuel pressure to atomize the fuel better? i know its not neccesary and i would have to adjust my map for the higher pressure, but would it be better?

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
FYI higher fuel psi does not atomize fuel better. It actually does the opposite. Carbs have the best fuel atomization and they only run around the 6-10 psi mark.

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
i have read that carbs atomize the fuel better, my idea on that is the fuel is going from a positive pressure to an area of high vaccume really fast, but i also thought i read somewhere that higher fuel pressure atomizes the fuel better to a point. im sure there is a point where it go more to a stream

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
Don't even think about doing something that stupid.

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
well I think that you got your answare, but ill go ahead and also tell you that it would be stupid to do it.

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
you can just up your fuel pressure with a FPR

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
Since your stock FPR is a 1:1 regulator, it does raise the pressure with boost. It does it linearly and that is enough, if you run out of injector, get bigger one. :)

Re: FMU and Uberdata?
that makes scence. im surprized i didnt think of that
