FMU rate

Re:FMU rate
woah, 8psi with an fmu is risking it. i had an fmu on my d16a6 not too long ago and it would lock up and i would run leaner than a mofo! i popped in the afc hack and its a whole new car now! anyways, a 12:1 would be your best bet of not running lean but who knows if the stock injectors can hanlde it. the only other way is using the fmu and getting some 310cc injectors or some from a 92-96 prelude vtec. either way, i'd ditch the fmu and run bigger injectors with something to controll them

Re:FMU rate
ok, another question. I've got an old civic 4 door with the DX motor (dpfi). Its just kinda sitting in the driveway taking up space. It runs pretty good but its very slow. I was thinking about boosting it just to ---- with the ricers, but im too poor and lazy to do a mpfi swap. anyone ever try a FMU on a dpfi setup? Im actually not even sure if it has a return fuel line.

I run 8psi.. and have creep to 9psi at higher rpm's under load... and have 10:1 FMU.. and all on D14 engine (which I suppose has weaker rods than D15?) :) (not running lean tho...) Looks nasty... :-\ |
