FMU question
Would a FMU be good fuel management for t3 pushing 8 psi on a stock D15b7

Re:FMU question
Absolutely NOT. FMU's are not good for that much psi. I don't think they are good for anything and would never use one. If you do go with a an FMU I wouldn't exceed 5 psi. If you are new to this please look into chipping your ECU.

Re:FMU question
I ran a FMU for 2 years at 6-8lbs with no problems. Is it the best way to go? No. Will it work? Yes.

I would however recommend looking into getting your ECU chipped or chipping it yourself. Let me know if you need any help with that. Sell the FMU on Ebay, buy an ECU (or chip the one you have if possible) and chipping kit and you arent out any money. |
Re:FMU question
FMU is so dumb. ur better off just taking the stock fpr and crushing it in a vice.
j/k dont actually do this |
Re:FMU question
if you plan on upgrading and dont have money its a good thing to have sittin around to use for a while but def upgrade

Re:FMU question
Fmu's work for simple applications but with so mnay options like chipped ecu's there is really no reason to go the route. If you are set on it make sure you have an upgraded fuel pump. Most fmu's set ups fail due to the high pressure the fmu requires and the factory pump cant keep up causing a lean condition.
