fmu for dx?

will a 12:1 fmu work on a dx with dual point fuel injection? Also what is a map sensor missing link bypass valve? what does it do?

First off, dual point fuel injection sucks balls!!! I have a friend that had a dx but he put the multi point injection from D16a6 and then it started to pull, turbo that...you'll be straight! 12:1 fmu sounds fine. The missing link is to trick the map sensor to not see boost, its basically a pretty check valve instead of using the ugly fish tank ones.

Boosting 5 - 6psi with dual point fuel injection will be fine. Yes, you'll need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator (Commonly called FMU), and a set of check valves, or missing link.

Dual Point fuel injection isn't the best, but if it's what he has, he can use it. It can cost almost $100 or more to swap to multipoint fuel injection, but, if you can't do that, your existing dual point is good for at least 5 - 6psi.
