hey there i was just wondering who out there is using an fmu(what kind) and what kind of comments they have about them good or bad.

ive been searching around and want to get a feel if i should go this route or not (im not sure about chipping my ecu)

they are fine for a cheap low boost solution, but you will outgrow it fast

want to get rid of it because of problems or because you want more boost?

im going for 6-7 lbs.

6-7 u should be fine... but some others may think different... the hack isn't to much more expensive then the fmu so if anything that should be the least way to go... fmu's aint bad cuz im using one for now till i chip my ecu. 7psi is what im at with no problems "yet"... hope everything holds up and yes im out growing it...

---- i got a fmu.its good to start out with on low boost. had it about 2 months, but leaning towards uberdata after i make my own obd2-obd1 harness. yes a homemade conversion harness for obd2 peeps. i'll let ya'll know if it works out
