Hey thanks bro, i haven't used it yet cause all of a sudden the drivers i downloaded from the instructions on moates.net worked after 24 hours of leaving my computer off. I downloaded the one off moates and the FTDI chipset D2XX. I am communicating with the ostrich and crome and gunna load up a base rom and hope all is well. I will let you know.

doesnt anyone get angry with the fact you are being forced to use a hella old version of TE to use the new ostrich? I would sure love for someone to update the baud rate the new version of TE (Beta 3) searches on for the Ostrich. It used to be 115200 now its 920000.

hell i even loaded a hex editor to try and change it but couldnt find the string...

I guess "Angry" and "Forced" were probably the two words that set me off...

No one is forcing anyone to do anything...

Maybe you should have used "frustrated" and "helpless"

I installed my base rom in my ostrich and installed it and my car started right up. No smoke from ecu or harness. Everything was good until the piece of crap ebay replacement ac adapter for my laptop broke and the battery last about 20 minutes. So i cant do any data logging or anything right now. I ordered another from ebay (an oem one) cause they are like 120 at the stores. SO i gotta wait to start tuning. SUCKS!!!!!!!!
