finished kit, car won't start NEED HELP!! ECU GURU'S THIS MEANS YOU!!

i finally finished my turbo kit on saturday.
so i burned my bin to a 27sf512 chip.
went to start the car and nothing, would just turn over.
btw i'm using a willem enhaced burner. i tried the offset of 8000. still nothing
solid cel, so i tried with no offset and i turned the key to on, heard the fuel pump turn on and the cel turned off. so i thought that was it. but no it wasn't. i did notice that if i could read the bin back off the chip and open it up in crome i would get a solid cell, but if i couldn't open in crome the the cell would go away.
i chipped the ECU myself. everything looked good, except when i was bending one of the capacitors it cracked a bit, not all the way, it was just kind of around where the wire goes into the brown ----(ceramic?) so i don't know if that fucks the whole thing up or what.
crome bin
p28 ecu
i've had to look at my car in the garage since saturday, all put together. ITS ------- KILLING ME. i want to drive it. help me please.

The cap is just for filtering. It shouldn't be that. Sounds like a willems set up issue.

thats what i was thinking, but i've tried about every different offset with the same end result. no start.
i'm getting fuel, but no spark
oh and when the cel turns off and i try to start it if i try long enough i get a cel, but i connect the jumper to check it, and there's no flashing just solid cell.

try erasing the chip at 0 offset then 8000 offset. make a new basemap in crome then burn that to the chip using 8000 offset.

if that doesn't work then pull your plug wires to make sure you're getting spark. if you are check to make sure you're getting fuel. possible coincidence that your main relay went...i've seen it happen.

do you know anyone with a socketed ecu you could borrow to try as well?

well i'm sorry to admit this, but i was werkin on it with my friend and when we put the tranny back on i thought he connected all the wires, but it turns out he left one disconnected that was being blocked by another for the ignition so i didn't see it.
plugged it in and it fired right up.
i feel like a total fool.
anyway, it rips hard now!!! i love it. thanx for the input.

Man ---- like that is why I work on my car alone. It just makes me nervous when someone else is taking ---- off and putting it back on and I can't keep track of it.

Just a reminders to check ALL of your wiring and grounds before blaming the ECU ;D
