i would say that maybe the basemap is just not running right with your setup. you might need to re-adjust the tune to your setup then go from there....not every car is the same. hell i had a basemap in my car that ran fine....then when i built my motor i had to get a new tune cuz it was falling on its face when boosts came in

Make sure the jumper is connected so your ecu is reading off your chip, you are having the same sympotms as me. I was puzzled and kicked myself after I realized I was still running off the stock map.

Id say check your plug gap to. it could be blowing out the spark.

Re: finally boosted again but i have big problems
ok i started the car yesterday and got a steady CEL...but it wouldn't let me check the CEL by flashing it...so i called a friend of mine and he said it was because of the ecu...so i unchipped and cut the bridge on J1 then turned the key and i got a 41 out of it. thats the only code it was throwing. i had to get the car back to the house so i started it and lowered the fuel pressure and drove it to my cousins...i took it to 5500 revving it just to see if it would break up and it didn't...the whole way driving it i didn't take it higher than 3k rpms then i looked at my boost gauge and it read 5psi. the weird thing is the car ran good lol...but its parked until i can get it tuned. if jd can;t see me soon i got a connection with RLZ and they said they would dyno tune it on crome for 250 dollars. so we'll see what happens

Sounds like you had ecu problems from the beginning. 4K rpms is not some random number.
