Few questions on TE...
I figured that maybe it's about time i start doing some research on this instead of going to have someone chip and tune my car for me. I've been studying alot on TE lately since it looks like that's what i'm going to end up running. I noticed for starters, if I use say a pm6 through TE, that the rpm's on the side bar never seem to extend past 7400 rpm, even if you raise the rev limiter through the program. Why is this? Is it because of the 15x15 grid you're limited to or what? Reason I ask is it looks like my b16a is going to end up running off a pm6 that i have, and I don't want to end up losing everything at only 7400 rpm on a dohc vtec :-\ And would someone please explain to me what exactly is the "ng60" code? Is this something I'm going to need a hex editor for, or some kind of assembly editor? I know it's possible to do dual maps on a pm6, but is that for boost only or can i run it as a dual table for vtec fuel and timing and have boost also? It's been a long time since i followed up on any of this stuff, so i'm pretty much lost anymore. Hell, everytime I read up on pgmfi.org i seem to leave there more confused than anything :1 Anyway, I'm about 2 steps away from just going back to obd1 and just chip a p28 (if i can ever find another one :X) to run this damn thing, but i'd really like to give TE a try.

Re: Few questions on TE...
convert to obd1 and use crome...you'll be much happier.

Re: Few questions on TE...
if you are running a b16, have you looked into BRE? it was designed for obd0 vtec roms...

Re: Few questions on TE...
I don't know about that "last column" deal...that seems a little shady, especially since the turbo i have starts spooling at 4500+ rpm. The motor will be built to handle around the 9k-9500 range, so that's around 2000 rpm to try and guess at while under full boost. No thanks. If I can find a pr3 or pw0, i'll use BRE...if not, i guess crome or uberdata and obd1 own me :P
