Faulty RPM reading on SAFC
hi guys
I have my SAFC showing 3000-4000 revs when im sat at idle (500-1500), anyone experienced this? Ive heard you can take a feed direct from the distributor>? any help would be great thanks |
Re:Faulty RPM reading on SAFC
double check your install,on the apexi site.does your stock tacho work? if so then your rpm wire is okay ,then make sure your settings are correct eg(cylinders etc)if still no go then if your running a external coil then hook it up to the negative tab .If its a internal coil then i dont no how :P

Re:Faulty RPM reading on SAFC
got it sorted in the end, took a feed off the blue wire (2 pin connector) from my distibutor and connected that to the RPM signal wire on the SAFC, all works ok now
thanks again |
Re:Faulty RPM reading on SAFC
Yeah, my SAFC is screwed up with the RPM also. I just thought it was the AFC, but maybe I'll try wiring it to the coil and see what happens
