Re: F22 ECU
VTEC or no?

Re: F22 ECU
No Vtec

Re: F22 ECU
I think 92 Accord is OBD1, so P06 is your best bet.

I suggest you spend about 2 months reading before you even touch your engine. that, or pay someone to tune for you, but thats the ----- way out. :6 www.cb7tuner.com/vbb look in the Performance Tech section. read the stickies about tuning. that should get you started. |
Re: F22 ECU
Well thats why im asking you guys for help, cause i dont have 2 months to just sit here and read, and i had a pro build my motor, and just needed one more thing, the ecu, p06 sounds good, thanks for the help.

Re: F22 ECU
If you come acrossed a cheap p28 Ive heard that would work to. Just disable vtec or set it to engage at a rpm past your rev limit.

Re: F22 ECU
---- if you find a cheap p28 it will work, but save it for those of us who have vtec;)

Re: F22 ECU
you can't chip the stock accord ecu, I ran a p06 chipped for uberdata. I may even be willing to sell it, maybe

Re: F22 ECU

you can use a p-72 as well thats what I got,I have sohc vtec, but as mentioned you can disable it in the tuning software- at least i know you can in crome. But you better read....and read....and read, or you will be sorry... Good luck!!!! |
Re: F22 ECU
p75 from an LS?
|
Re: F22 ECU
just use uberdata with a p06, its much cheaper. and there are already a ton of basemanps flowing around tuning forums.
its too damn expensive to buy a vtec ecu to just disable it. dont get me wrong, I prefer crome over uber, but its not worth it imo. |
Re: F22 ECU
I was just saying he can use a p28 if one were to basicaly fall in his lap like find one at the junkyard or a buddy has one.
and sometimes on ebay the seller doesn't know what they have. |
