Default extra injector

hey hey

was wondering if many people on this site have run an extra injector in cooler piping (10cm before throttle) and had any success?

didn't notice anything mentioned in FAQ's

thanks

What would you use to control it?

None of the EM systems out there that use honda ECUs have provisions for an extra injector and thats what most people use here.

Im guessing with Megasquirt (or any of the other many standalone systems) you could use one of their extra injector drivers to do it.

Turboedit and Uberdata both offer something that is superior to the extra injector method. I think you would be better to just run larger injectors and one of the above mentioned EM.

Yes you can...but they are like $200-600. I think it was the Greddy CDI or something like that I saw once posted on here.

MF2, 034 EIC, HKS AIC, Megasquirt, Powerlink 200, SDS EIC, There are a number of extra injector controllers available. You need to research and see which one fits your needs (and budget). And if it's better suited to your needs than any of the other methods available to you. (Uber, etc...)

i've been running an SDS EIC two injector controller for two years now on my d16a1 with ZC TB. I am having issues with flooding with the dual butterfly TB because the lower and larger one will stay closed when the smaller one is open. The gas pools and floods cylinder #1. Other than that I've no other issues with it and seem to like it. I bought it for $500 and I thought it was money well spent, although now I'm going the vafc and 450 route.

He was running an extra injector set-up b4 Turbo Edit. I am sure that is why he posted. he isn't an ECU guy, so I am sure it is some crazy way to rig it up.
