Electronic throttle body to mechanical

I have a problem....i'm making a homemade set-up for my 02 spec-v. well i dont want to have to deal with the MAF sensor goin over 5 volts and blowing it. so i want to change to a map sensor. well i my car comes with a electronic throttle body and i need a mechanical one to eliminate this. and i have yet to find any info on changing this over. i do realize i can use MS but i think that ill run into not knowing how to tune that well on my own and having problems in the future. so if anyone knows of an EMS for a qr25de or has any ideas because the guys on the nissan sites dont seem to be liking the idea of the DIY turbo set-ups. i showed them what people hear have done with hondas but they seem to still believe u need to spend 2,000 on EMS and there is no other way.

yea thats pretty much how some people think if it ain't a name brand kit don't buy......BS and there are plenty of alternative tuning programs that are just as good if not better than a $1000 + EMS not to mention they are much more of a hassle to install and tune. but atleast you are on the right path.i personaly would stay with the maf and run MS theres alot of knowledgable people who can help you. you may run into problems trying to convert to a mechanical tb as well since there don't seem to be many who have done this , that may also require a custom intake mani since there probably any interchangable TB thats mechanical for that engine(that i know of) but its up to you.........good luck
