Default ecu ?'s

Just curious. Is there any difference between the P06(dx,lx) ecu's and the P05(cx) ecu's? I know the P06's can be made into P28 but could the p05 also and if there is a difference what are they? I've got 2 p06's and a p05 and wondering how good these are?

What are the #'s on the boards?

I believe the P05 ecus can be VTEC'd

I know that Auto P05 can easily be using parts from inside the actual ECU.

Thought the P05 is a 1 wire O2?

Thats why I was asking cause I noticed that since I got the whole swap for 20 bucks and wonder if the ecu is usable from it.

p06 is the easiest to convert to a p28, p05 is the same as a p06 once you convert it to 4 wire o2, which isn't too tough either. 11f0 board types are the very easiest, 1720 board types require a little more work, but still nothing too difficult.

I agree with kevin on teh boards being a little different. But you just kinda have what you have.

I think nathan was akning me to do that for ya. I told him that I would. If you want, I still can do it for ya. If you are local I can cut ya a deal.
