Default ECU Re-program

In about a month or so I will reprogram my ECU using the GhettoDyne, but I have a 1988 Si computer which has a built in rom in the chip that I will need to change (has 42 pins). My question is I have a spare ECu but its from a DX and it was in 1991 (has seperate rom chip), can I use this ECu or do I need a PM6 from 1990-1991. Thanx

We are currently testing a chipped 88 Si computer so hopefully this will be an option for you come time for boost. The DX computer will not work because it only has circuitry for two injectors for the TBI setup of a DX motor.
