ECU question on swap
 

Have a ZC with a mini me. OBD0 of course, but its running a PM8? Which I was pretty sure was the HF ecu, also limits at 5500, I threw my buddy's PM6 in there today and was able to take it up to about 7300.

Question is, is it didnt want to run right at all from 1-4k and (spuddering horribily) and after 4k it took off like a bat out of hell.

Do I just need to let my car sit and run and get use to the Pm6 or what?

Does this mean you are VTEC?

Neither of those ECUs you are running are right for that setup...this is your problem.

Convert to OBD1 and do it right or get a chipped PR3/PW0 and get it tuned on BRE

Ok so, atleast say for now for getting me back and forth. Will my car get use to the PM6? It seems to run fine on the PM8, just limit is 5500.
