ECU? Need help

I was having problems with my ecu when it was chipped....well i went through and i redid it and now i put the chip in and i have a really hard time starting up.....once i get it started i will get a check engine light flashing then it will goto solid....any reason y it might be doint this nad y im ideling at about 1600rpms?
