Re: Ecu fooling for code 41

Wire in a 1K ohm 1/4 watt resistor in place of the O2 heater.

Re: Ecu fooling for code 41

Would correctly spelling out a complete sentence be asking too much? 1k is 1000 ohms.

Re: Ecu fooling for code 41

sorry man if u didnt like my way of typing
is this ok now? :)
so u say tat a 1kohm n a .25 watt resistor would work for this? and not giv me the cel again
has any of you tried it?

Re: Ecu fooling for code 41

wtf
any ways
i tried a couple of used o2 sensors
and cel still didnt go
also tried the 1k .25ohm resistor thing and it didnt work either
frum the 2 black wires
only one is giving +
some people are saying that the other is a ground wire and some are saying it should also giv a + current
btw if i short both of em
the cel goes away but the car start to die and turns off in a while
its probably faulty wireing
how do u re-wire a o2 sensor?
i want to put new wires from the ecu
so any help would b nice

Go look at your manual. you can figure out how to wire them direct. I think the signal wire is D14, not sure though. Just seems that way in my memory.

you can disable the o2 heater circut when you edit the rom dog

Re: Ecu fooling for code 41

hooking up the wb to the d14 pin wont get rid of the code 41. you have to find a way to complete the circuit with the o2 heater, or just disable the o2 heater in uber/crome. idiot.
