ecu control vs Freelog
I used ecu control for datalogging on my obd0 crx and worked great couldnt reload a saved run but it worked, when i switched to obd1 it connects fine, i cant get it to even display any engine data, played with all the baud rates and port settings and everything is still a no go.
So i was willing to give freelog a run, where do i get that software from?? thnx for any advice or tips :S |
Re: ecu control vs Freelog
Here is a runthrough on how to set it up:

Re: ecu control vs Freelog
What are you using for fuel management?
If you are using Crome, you have to enable datalogging. Did you try a sanity check? (under tools in freelog) Definitely check out the links above though, they are pretty thorough. |
Re: ecu control vs Freelog
can you use the datalogging feature under crome "free" or do you need "Pro"??? also what about launch control is that only under Pro to? thnx

Re: ecu control vs Freelog
crome free will let you enable datalogging in the rom, but it will not actually datalog. You need crome pro to datalog, or different software like freelog.
launch control should be available in the free version, the 'add extra features' plug-in I believe is what does it. |
Re: ecu control vs Freelog
Launch control can't be put into a P28 rom afaik, just so you know.
