It's probably not logging. The first time I tried I got a bunch of random numbers and reads that would jump all over the place. It turns out that comm5 and up on most laptops are for USB devices. Comm 1-4 are used by the computer, but usually not all of them. In my case Comm 2 & 3 were occupied and 1 & 4 were empty. The logger wants a serial style signal. All I had to do is download the serial to usb driver from some website and config that port and ecu control to my empty comm1. Works perfect.
The numbers you are seeing are most likely not from your ECU, but instead random crap from your computer.

I really appreciate your help guys. Zccr please send me the installer for the port. But what kind of cables u r using, I知 using nokia cable DKU5. I know all ppl have got different problems while using this cable and all said the serial cable is better the problem it is so difficult to get max ICs around here
Another thing I tried all TE version but I got the same result of the ECU Control random numbers.

Ok I tried to make everything in the right way so I eliminate all possible errors that I知 doing in this
I took the data cable which I got from Nokia (it is a DKU-5) and strip it
As you can see in the pics that I attached
The USB connection has the RX, TX, GND, VCC and another one DTR which I couldn稚 understand for what is but it is shorted to the GND so I left it as it is.

and this is a pic of my ECU

this is the CN3

So the wiring was as following:
ECU USB
1 Green/ marked as GND
2 Blue/ marked as TX
3 Empty/ orange not connected
4 White/ marked as RX
5 not used

My USB Data Cable

And this is the final connection of my ECU

Ok now the big question is
After all the things that I have done, did it worked
The answer is NO

I did not get any thing at all
Before I striped the cable to figure out the TX and the RX I got a crazy random data in the ECU control and Turbo Edit. I download the driver which I got along with the cable and I download the one from ------------- but it was the same
Now with every thing is right (I知 assuming) I got nothing
Well what I知 missing am I using the wrong cable or there is something with my ECU need to be cut or removed like J or adding an R
Or it is just a simple thing that no software is supporting a stoke ECU and I have to chip it to get this feature

Well I知 still trying hopefully one day I succeed but hopefully before I got crazy and smash the ------- ECU

If anyone have any suggestion, you all welcome, but for the time been no suggestions regarding using a serial port because I search everywhere in here and I could not found a MAX chip and all the website were I can find they don稚 deliver out side USA or Europe

Any one please
And this is to motivate you guys

I have the same ecu in my car, and tried the nokia dku-5 cable approach. It never worked quite right...so i paid the $30 to get the HULOG cable on moates site, and never had a problem since.

I dont think its worth the hassel to make a phone cable work after trying to fix it over and over again. Besdies, the real battle isnt getting the tools to work right, but to auctual tune the car. Dont waste anymore effort with the nokia cable, get somethings proven to work, and focus on tunning.
