Default ECU Control

Ok ppl
i have a PM7 with a ZC engine. my problem is;
i tried to datalog my ECU. i done all connection with a USB nokia data cable
but all data i got from my ECU were missed up
the rpm were moving around so fast the speedometer went up to 240KPM then back to 0
even when the car is not running i;m still getting this wird number
by the way my PM7 is still in stock condition and i'm using ECU controll for datalogging
i read alot regarding this and what i found is that ppl said it is not posible to do a data loging using the stuck rom?
also another thing what is NG55 and NG60
is there a J in PM7 that i need to cut?

I'm not familiar with your ecu, so I can't comment on it specifically. My only comment is to be skeptical about the Nokia cable. The success rate on those has been very hit or miss. Some have different chips, or different wiring, and some just flat out don't work. It may be that the ECU is not setup properly, but I just wanted to point that out.

Can you cross the Tx and Rx pins on the ecu side to check it? You can fire up Terminal in windows and see if it loops back. If you get a good loop back, then your ecu is not properly setup.

i'm using Nokia Cable which is a 4 wires cable white red black and green. i got reading from my ECU which means my connections are right, isnt??
but the only thing is that the datat are missed up
i read that if the ECU is it stock condition it wont communicate which i couldnt understand way unless the data base addresses which used in the program are not matching with the ROM for parameter identification
my ECU is still in Stock condition, and i want to see what is going on in my stock ECU before chipping it so i can compare the stock with any bin i download from the net
and ppl what is NG55
thank you ppl for ur help

Nokia cable only requires 3 wire, Ground, TX and RX...no power wire...the cable gets its power from the Laptop

Agreed, but most newer laptops don't have a comm port. I have had good results with a serial ecu plugged into a serial/usb adapter though.

ok is it true that i cant do a data logging with a stock ECU?
and is there a J or R that i have to add or remove before do a logging (for your info. i have a 37820-PM7-000 ECU, my engine is a Black Top ZC DOHC)
yasterday i tried to log into my ECU the Software is communicating with the ECU but i got missed up data. i tried to do all kind of troubleshooting but no still the same, even if the car is not running (just in power on to power the ECU) i'm still getting the same ----. i've attached took a data log for my car while it is not running. what i'm thinking is if my cable is not working thin from where i'm getting this numbers in the ECU Controll and it disappeared when i disconnect the cable from the ECU. i cant find a Serial cable to use there r not available here
i read about many ppl have done this with nokia cable which i'm using now but why i cant make it work
i have tried TE and i got the same result data is flowing like crazy
any one, please help

I have no expieriance with a chipped ecu. But I think you are right, you can't datalog a stock ecu.
Get the ecu chipped with a stock bin(or whatever) and datalog enabled.
