ecu chip question

i have a zc in my 5g hatch now and have been trying to get something that'll make it run better. could i chip my obd1 ecu (cx, dx, or ls) with the original zc program pm7, i think? i'm soon going turbo and am going to use safc2 but maybe uber some day so could i then again mod the ecu?

P29. The original ZC program for OBD1 is designated "P29" and you can get it from the PGMFI wiki (http://wiki.pgmfi.org)

Re:ecu chip question

i had found where the p29 rom was at on the wiki but i guess the site was updated and it was lost or at least i cant find it. am i just stupid? .....probably!!

also i think i tried to open the p29 program in uberdata and it wouldn't open. can you only open the ones provided by uberdata? (my computer crashed so i lost all my stuff) if so, i guess my chipping will be limited to loading the p29 rom to run my engine instead of doing that and programming it for turbo.
