i just found out that i can get a conversion harness for my car and chip it so now i need to know the best ecu to chip and about how much it costs to get the ecu and have it chipped with a good base map.

 

You should get a P28 with a stick, if possible. Or you can get a P06 and convert it to VTEC but thats a bitch. You can also convert an auto to a stick very easily.

i have a .bin i downloaded, it has the same turbo and injectors that i have but it is for a y7, couldn't i just add the vtec crossover points in uber and have somebody burn a chip with it?
how much for one of your ecu's and you to burn me a chip with my .bin?

what engine do you have? if it's not for the same engine, then no, you can't really use it (well, you can, but it won't run great). each basemap originates from the original rom for a certain ecu/engine. i could sell you an ecu and burn you a .bin for your set up though. do you want to chip it yourself and just need the parts and the chip burned? or were you asking about how much for the ecu chipped already? pm me.

 

what else would i have to do to get this to work after i get the conversion harness and ECU? OBD1 dizzy?
