What kind of tuning does the tuner do? If they do any alcohol it shouldn't be anything new to do e85.

How many of you toads have actually tried it?
I tried the "ratio" thing stoich of E85 vs Gasoline.
Result: Pig rich.

E85 is a lot more tolerant of mixture than gas. That is you can run it a lot richer or a lot leaner without noticing a difference.
For me, a multiplier of 20-25% was bought me into the ballpark. 35% was way to rich.

As the stuff is $2.70, it's a wash between the drop of fuel economy and the decrease in price. I hadn't fully leaned out the cruise though.

For a turbo it's great - high octane, knocksense went totally silent, more exhaust gas - I picked up 2-3 psi in boost just in gas flow alone.

i wouldnt go to deep into the 11's, the stuff is ~106octane after all. 12.0's is the sweet spot, or so i hear.

also, dont try and aim for 14.7 while cruising, you mpg will hunt you. lean it out as much as possible. i almost matched my regular gasoline mpg with e85.
