Re:DSM Injectors = Code 12, EGR system?

SAFC is -50% to +50%.
The first setting I ever tried was -46%.. but that was way to lean, my idle was barely well idling.. hehe
I played around with my settings to -30% for my idle and found that by -38% my idle is about stock and just got smoother as I went lower. But say -35% was my prefect idle, then your saying I would have to set the rest of my correction range to -35% all across? That's fine when N/A, but how about when I get the turbo on.. how am I supposed to tune it if my entire range has to be the same as my idle correction? I'm alittle lost about that part ???

if this works youll get rid of the CEL but youll have to keep that there all the time. not only that but to change the other ranges later youll have to find the exact point(s) at which the CEL comes on, set one of your 8 increments to that rpm(s), then hope that the slope of the curve adjacent to both sides dont fall out and violate the the points the ecu has stored lol.
so say idle(<1000rpm point) is -35%, at 1600rpm it's -33%, at 2200rpm(CEL range start point) set the correction to -35%?? (Not exactly sure at which rpm I get the CEL, but it's in the 2200-2800 range) 2800rpm(CEL range end point) set to -30%, 3400rpm -28% and so on?
Those are theoritical correction %'s I might be using once the turbo is on. Is that what you mean XDEep? if it is then I think I got it..

ya you got it. 35 at that point and whatever for the rest. sucks dont it? well at least try and see if it works and we can go from there.

according to that guy it shouldnt be a problem as its just the ecu alerting of no vacuum drop and suggesting the egr valve didnt open. also we're gonna be tuning the afr and at least boost doesnt really kick in till after 3k. acutally i was hoping my 14b would start at 2k. however, he's a GM guy and whos to know what honda programmed in there.

btw, you said erick and hondata said its not a good idea to run hondata on autos, did they give any explanation? the egr would be a good reason but apparently manuals have them too.

So I DON'T have to set my corrections to my idle except for the range that it gives the CEL?
The 14b on my car should start spooling at about 2400rpm.. so it would be a problem if I had to set it to the idle correction at that point. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. ???

Their explanation was that it might have "problems" with the automatic computer and Hondata wasn't designed/tested on an auto, but they said it I could buy a Hondata system and a P28 ECU and try it out. At that point I said, nah, I'm not interested in spending $600 to try something that "might" work. I also got the impression that they didn't even know the automatic computer and the ECU are seperate "boxes".
