DSM 450's Raising Fuel Pressure?

Is it possible that the 450's could raise my fuel pressure? Theyre second Gen black top 450's. Im using inline 10watt 10ohm resistors.

nah im pretty sure they dont affect psi unless they USE ALL of the fuel sent that way, but that would lower pressure.

BUT, if one or more were stuck open that might do it..do u have another pair handy?

Only pair. Havent hooked my gauge up. Just asking in advance. What would hold the injectors open? I know these were in working order prior to my car.

dirt.. slug... over exertion...... you can check if theyre working with a stethoscope.

while the car is running... put the stethoscope on the injector and you should here clicking letting you know it is working... the one that doesnt click is, well the one thats stuck... thats one way to check.

the other method is to find a shop that can bench flow test them. (Most anyone who deals with RC injectors)

Re:DSM 450's Raising Fuel Pressure?

btw guys. I put my fuel pressure gauge on and its reading 20psi at idle with the vac line on.. im confused?

Hrm actually Im thinking this may be because when I had my Walbro pump in. I thought if I did it this would fix my problems I have been having with running rich. It was the fuel pressure releif mod from endyn (theoldone.com). I dunno. But I guess my fuel problems isnt my fuel pressure. AFC is coming soon. And I guess I'll throw in my walbro to bring the pressure to a better level. Unless anyone wants to gimme a stock d16y7 fpr? ;P

You can also use a normal every day screwdriver to listen to the injectors.

If they were using all the fuel. Would that be an injector wiring problem. Or more like an smc problem. I have my AFC on order and should be here shortly. But I'm wondering if I should worry about injectors and such.
