dsm 450s maxed out??
alright i didn't get any responses so let me question this differently. I start leaning out at 6000RPM to red line @ 13-15psi of boost, with a/f ratios in the low 12s. ive been carefull not to get on it unless trying to tune it out... the problem is that i keep adding fuel in those cells in Crome and i'm not getting any change what so ever... DSMs maxed out??
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i'm just wondering if anyone knows how accurate Cromes injector duty calculations are? at 13-15psi i get something crazy like 150% duty on DSM 450s.
Ive read that 450s should be good up to 300whp? i havn't dyno'd this thing yet but i'm sure at 15psi its gotta be making some power. The rest of the set up includes... z6, low comp OEM internals, t3/t4 50 trim.
any thoughts are welcome

Re: dsm 450s maxed out??
on a d16y5 with a big 16g, without the methanol I was able to run up into 18psi land without maxing the injectors...somehow I sort of doubt you're maxing yours out.
also, you can look into what duty cycle the injectors are at by the softwares standards...they're usually off (read higher than actual) but can give you some idea of how far off from maxed they are.

Re: dsm 450s maxed out??
UPDATE:
so i'm still having leaning out issues with any thing above 11psi. Over the weekend i did manage to run a 13.7/ 2.2 60ft/ 103mph @10psi.
2 weeks ago it seems that i was able to boost 14-15psi with no probs with a/f. now it leans out regardless of how much fuel i add in. I'm starting to think its my fuel pump not being able to keep up or flow the fuel i need.
what do you guys think?

Re: dsm 450s maxed out??
I have the stock pump wired like it came from honda... but i do have a kill switch wired in... i don't think that would effect anything though. If the switch did make a difference wouldn't my issues be more consistent through out the rpm range?
i'm gonna start shopping for a walbro. i hope that solves my problem.
