DSM 390 inj. vs. 440inj.???
question of the day, ..... im setting up a hmt setup with a 14b and gonna run 8 psi ...
now i know i will be running a hack, and with the 440's u have to pull a hell of alot of fuel ... -40 i hear ..... no correct me if im wrong but after pulling more that -20 doesnt it stop reading of the ecu's fuel maps???? is this kinda bad??? would it be better to hold out and try and find a set of 390's???? do you guys think it would make a diffrence??? sorry, im not to much of a tunning/fuel buff |

I have never heard that. If you chip your ECU you won't have that problem! ;D

I have 390cc injectors running 8psi boost and works fine.
But you never reach -20% not even with 390cc unless your rev limit is 11000 :) |

No VAFC, SMC500 idle at -31%, 1000rpm -33%, 8500rpm -23%, running very rich.
No, i didn't dyno as there is no plcae to do that in nmy country :( |

whats smc??? anyone else have any other opinions??? am i safe to say that 390's would be a better size to run that 440's????

why do people still use this method when you can chip your ecu for nothing >:( then you can run pretty much whatever injectors you want

i was thinking about trying out uberdata, but unfortunatly i dont know much about tuning and making all my own maps, and i need to learn the program and ---- ....
anyone know where i can find some good info about how to use the program??? then all i need to do is to mod my ecu for the eeproms and get a eeprom burner right??? |
