I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR THOSE WHO KNOW D-SERIES ----

TOPIC 2000 civic ex "AUTOMATIC" OBD2

Ok its not my car but i came across a girl with a problem. She has a 2000 civic turbo ex auto with 30k miles
she was in the military therefor she has lil miles on the car.

car mods haha

greddy turbo kit (cast iron manifold the old one i think)
trust intercooler
greddy type s bov
crappie check valve system (fish tank valves)
xs Boost contol
vortec FMU
2 1/2inch pipeing with a trust exhuast
just hack it
well here is the problem i was talking to her and she has a apex afc controller, she wants to install it into her car, i told her to go to a forum,, ( like this one MOST RELIABLE BYTHE WAY). now i dont know much about installing ---- so thats why im asking for your help. Ok lets see ive done some reading. some guy with a d16 did a similar setup but its was manual,,, he did some tuning TOOK OFF the CHECK VALVAE SYSTEM (put it back to stock) and installed the apex controller to the ecu ( my question should she take of the fmu or leave it in?) So i drove her car on the 105 frwy in southern cali (haha she let me drive it) first thing i notice she doesnt have any gauges only a boost set at 9psi. the car goes faster when the trottle is 60% then 100%pushed down lol ( that needs to be fix too) ok guys and girls can there be a installation done? if yes what other parts are needed,, by the way she wont go manual. anyone got pix of there comments or manuals or other links something that might help.

Jesus chrsit this post is gay. You need injectors. Remove the FMU. Get a place where the car can be driven off a cliff.

why don't you try the Apexi website? are you helping her because she is cute and willing to give you ass?

take off the FMU and check valves and tell her to sell that afc and the other crap she just took off and buy an OBD2b to OBD1 conversion harness and a chipped ecu along with some dsm 450's and her car will run 10X better then it has the whole time she has owned it even on a basemap. :y

Its an accord though, and I dont know dick about obd2 tranny control. no clue if it's internal to the ecu, or has a separate tcu.
Everything is possible with enough research and trial/error

Single cam auto trannies like to self-destruct under abuse/added power....I'd see about adding an external tranny cooler and a fresh fluid change while I was at it.

I turbo'd a 94 auto-hatch one time just for shits and giggles....and yes the tranny liken to take a ---- within 100miles of abuse/tuning.

eh, with a tranny cooler and frequent fluid changes my automatic has been holding 10psi for 3 years. I don't abuse it, but I'm not easy on it either.
